Memorial Day
It's not just the "Beginning Of Summer" day that it has always been for me. Today I am genuinely moved by the sacrifice of the military - who I believe have been sent unjustifiably into harm's way. But it's not really a day to rant and rave - at least not here in my blog. I send out thanks and prayers for all who put everything they've got on the line for their country. For me. Perhaps because they are still there and the whole mess is such a quagmire and the implications are that it will get worse now - but whatever the reason, I have a deepened sense of regard and respect for the troops and I pray for their safe return.
